Are you ready for an adventure? Im gearing up for the "Mama Tried" Motorcycle Show in Milwaukee! I however am not sure if I'm geared up for the weather. Come Feb 22nd I'll land in Wisco with my long time friend Jenn to hopefully bring you guys some rad Moto content and connects for some cool shirts. This is not your average motorcycle event. It's a gathering of riders, builders, and enthusiasts who come together to celebrate the beauty and power of two wheels. Ive never been to Wisco but being from California and most definitely spoiled by the weather, I wouldn't miss this for the world.
What's in Store.
At the "Mama Tried" Motorcycle Show, I'll have the opportunity to meet up with legendary bike builder, Larry Curik, one of the best guys I've been blessed to know. Also hope to get to catch up with my high seas rally friends, Jody and Dave Perewitz who are wickedly talented builders and painters as well as land speed record holders. Always a great time with this crew around. Beautiful bikes, company and even better conversations and stories. But what's best of all is the laughs.
I'll have to swing by the Iron Horse for the after party on Saturday and Sunday when the show ends to check it out. We chose to stay at the casino, so that wed have entertainment if the weather is bad, too cold, or were just pu$$ies. Prior to that, getting in on Thursday before the weekend, well kick it off with the Fuel Cafe kegger. Can't forget about Flat out Fridays where we bought some pretty decent tickets to watch the races.
After the "Mama Tried" Motorcycle Show, it's time to shift gears. Ill come home for 3 days to hopefully work my ass off and change up the suitcase for Daytona Bike Week. Meeting up with Mouse and Retro of the Chrome Divas, Barbie The Welder and Moonshine Chuck. This iconic event is a must-attend for any motorcycle enthusiast. From thrilling races that start on March 2nd hosted by Sons of Speed and all kinds of events to come through out the week.
I'll be posting a lot on the IG page. Still getting the hang of this footage thing but pointers and any input of what you'd like to see will definitely be considered. Ill update with reviews of food, pictures of rad bikes, awesome people and lots of stories. Hopefully I can get my writing hat on and make it worth while.
Following up after I return in March I'll be hosted by John and Heather from the John and Heather show and Born to Ride Magazine to talk more about the brand and all these crazy adventures. All in all, what started Local Brand was me saying "I just wanna make cool shit, with cool people." I just choose to have motorcycles involved. Let's do this!
